Do I have to live in New Windsor to attend?
NO! We welcome our friends, family and neighbors from ALL our surrounding Communities! Come on out and spend a great day with your family and friends.

How do I get there?
Directions to the event are provided by clicking HERE.

Parking & Admission
There is no charge for parking or admission!  We have a large amount of parking at Kristi Babcock Memorial Park, and we'll have shuttles running from Cornwall High School right down the road starting at 1pm.

Handicap Parking
At Community Day we have a good amount of handicap parking, but with the amount of people it does fill up.  At that point, we'll meet you in the general parking with a golf cart and shuttle you right down to Community Day!  Just let the person know at the gate you need a handicap parking.  YOU MUST HAVE A VALID PERMIT.

Special Parking Note: At 7:15pm we'll no longer allow cars into the park for safety reasons, as we shut off all the lights for the fireworks.  You'll be directed to Cornwall High School at this point.  This is for all our visitors safety!  Get here early!

Pets
While we all love our pets, please leave your furry friends at home for the safety of all our visitors.  Service animals are allowed.

Restrooms
We have two full bathroom facilities at the park, see the map below.  There are mens, womens, and a family restroom under our large pavilion, and mens and womans bathrooms located near the entrance to the park.  We'll also have a bank of porta-potties on the far end of the field by Stage 2. These bathrooms are cleaned constantly throughout the day, and if at anytime anyone notices a problem with them, let any Community Day staffer know or message us on facebook and we'll get someone right on it.

Can I bring a chair and blanket and watch the entertainment on the stage all evening long?
Yes! Bring a chair or blanket, enjoy the entertainment and stake out your spot for the fireworks early!  Our music and food field will be more wide open this year to allow visitors room to setup up chairs and blankets to enjoy the evening.

First Aid
We'll have a first aid/lost child located between the two fields.

What if my child gets lost?
Please alert any police officer or Community Day Staff Member. Our staff there will initiate our procedure to handle this and we'll get you reunited right away.  Please take the bracelet you'll be given upon entering Community Day and place it on your child with an emergency contact phone number on it!  Help us help keep you safe!
